I have had some plug plants come in through the post, they are delphinium, campanula, penstemon & echinacea so are perennial I think it is a little too cold & blustery to put them out now so have put them into into seed trays with individual cells in them, one to each cell to also help them survive the journey as although the package says handle with care, the postman posted them. So my question is do I need to keep them indoors till spring or if we have a warm spell can I plant them then?

They are outdoor plants so I don't think they would be very happy indoors.

They can stand frost although being small will be a bit delicate so I should put them somewhere sheltered, although not in the dark and keep an eye out for slugs and snails.

Oh and I'd put them in small flowerpots so the roots can get stronger. Probably best to plant out in spring if they are really small or they will prob get eaten over the winter.
