Did you realise that cooked chicken bones are probably the most dangerous things to feed to animals, they are very sharp and can cause perforation of the bowels and intestines, after christmas the most common surgical procedures in our vets was to remove chicken and turkey bones from bowel walls, raw chicken bones are not a problem

Once they are pureed/liquidised I don't think that matters. Can any normally cooked bones from other animals be given to cats and dogs or is it just chicken bones?

unless you sieved the mixture, a fragment of razor sharp bone could be ingested. Cooked bones as a rule are not a good idea, the bones are softer and turn to a paste inside the animal, often caused fecal impaction,

I've heard cooked lamb bones shatter into shards and should be avoided

lamb bones will shatter, as a rule of thumb, just never give cooked bones, it is not worth the risk to your beloved pet

A bit similar but buying whole chickens some come with the liver and giblets in a small bag. I just freeze the liver until I have enough for a pate.

I agree about the bones to pets - my neighbour's dog died after eating chicken bones.
