yep, small babies spend less time in the water before they get cold never had a problem. No pool staff ever said anything to me either.

yeh same here - never used nappies in pool - never heard of swim nappies - got away with it. from 5 months (they ask you not to take babies to public pool until well after any vax.. as people can catch polio from babies vax....).

Wow - you learn something new every day! My lad is 8 months and I would love to take him swimming in something other than Huggies Little Swimmers! The group we're going to says that you need 2 swim nappies on the babies, preferable not Huggies.

Yep, swimming pool here won't allow babies in the water without plastic swim things on...

Just found Naturebotts from a couple of topics down on this very forum. Doh! Should have looked there first.

They are adjustable fit too, very nice indeed & have made my lil ladies look right snazzy in the paddle pool!!!!

Found a swim nappy in Mothercare - very cute. And then I found out the baby group leader at the pool sells reusable nappies anyway. Have 2 now!
Sam enjoyed his swimming lessons. We are going to try going under water next time. Scary thought!

Floaties. Try UKparents.co.uk in buy and sell as sometimes there are second hand ones, or freecycle. They have drawstring waist and depending on build of child last beyond the age recommendations.

And they are reasonably trim so you can put a groovy surf suit over them...

Slightly off topic - I've just bought him a dayglo orange wet suit. It looks so cute. I now have my own tango baby.
