Wanted: tattie baskets

Post: # 32302Post Stonehead »

Does anyone in Aberdeenshire or close by have any old tattie baskets? Preferably the galvanised wire ones.

We're lifting our tatties in a week or so and while we can use buckets, wire baskets let the earth fall through.

Thanks.

Hi Stoney I have two I believe..I have no need for them. There were in the undergrowth and I haven't looked at the properly but I sure you could do something with them.

If you want them you can either come and collect and the kids can have play together or wait util I collect the pork

Check my name and you will know who I am, part of my new address

Thanks to Baldowrie for dropping off not only two useable tattie baskets, but also a big bag of hessian sacks for storing our veg and other things. Much appreciated and very useful.
