				Excellent!
Recycling those buggers has been nonexistent. What an excellent idea.

there was a nice thing on craftster where someon made a vase display thing out of some old lightbulbs.
If i can find the link, i'll post it. It was very pretty, made out of lightbulbs, coathangers and a window sucker if i remember rightly.

				so do we.
I wonder if i can grow bamboo in a flourescent tube....
The ones at work here are not so eco friendly and tend to blow a lot...

				aaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - please no!!!!!!
Don't try to grow stuff in a floursecent tube - the stuff inside is nasty and should be disposed of carefully - they aren't like "normal" bulbs, what happens is that the electricity causes the magnesium something or other inside the tube to glow (great sparky I am - can't even remember the name of the damn stuff - but hey - its Friday!!).
I did think of asking my mum and dad to save their blown bulbs - do you think that would be cheeky as I'm intending to turn them into their Christmas prezzie?? lol

I have seen light bulbs used as a 'form' around which a thin covering of fimo has been wrapped around (leaving the top straight bit free) and a base of fimo to make the shape stand up. The bulb has then been fired and removed to make a little trinket box. Not quite recycling, but reusing of sorts,
kind thoughts
