Linking you into Reds Blog - because I am heaps impressed.

I can't belive a VW kombi van would be dearer than a transit van though... are they that scarce over there? We have 4 of the buggers on the farm. Well, 3 and a bug.

Now all I need is someone who knows how to fix em, so they stay fixed!

yeh the old style VW vans - particularly the ones with the v front (whatever that is called) do go for far more than I think they are worth - given that they are all old

and you have 3? and a bug? thats a beetle huh?

sell em!

then again - maybe they are not so popular over there?

Split screen campers. Lovely vans. I've got one and my daily car is a '67 Beetle.
No, they're not that cheap either. 'specially the ones that look fantastic.
I think it's a family thing. My parents had a Beetle when i was young.

Transits got to be the best, ignoring the collectors part of it.

Get yourself an ambulance!

We bought one from an NHS auction, it has been great we did 3000miles through europe including some pretty hairy 4x4 tracks!

Ours is a paramedic ambulance so it goes pretty quick and handles well, they come already insulated (they take off the blue light, but you do get a light on the dash that says "drugs locker open"!), also they aren´t allowed to put them into auction in bad condition.

Already wired for 12volts and you can reuse the airlines for gas.

I love my ambulance me :love4:

Clara x.
