Elderberry brandy recipe from dried elderberries

It is almost impossible to get fresh elderberries where I live and if it were possible the cost would be prohibitive.
I do herbal remedies and one of my teas calls for dried elderberries which I have to mail order, but the price is reasonable.
In any case, is it possible to make elderberry brandy from dried elderberries and does anyone have a recipe they would share with me?
