For a moment I thought you were still going on about the cricket.
Is this outside the normal range for Aus? Hope you're all OK.
How's your corner of the country, Boots? Still parched?

Ah, so NOW ya wanna talk cricket, huh?
I'm fine. We've had rain last night and tonight. Flat out heavy, hammering type that makes you wonder just how well you have built stuff...

... but all is holding up. Took in a bit of water last night, but nothing major. I ended up sealing with about 5 coats of paint, which is beginning to come away, so will need to be done again once the storms pass, I guess.
Our news tonight had the guys down south well and truly washed out. Paddling about in foot high flooded homes and shops. Mind you, I've had rellies down there ringing me with sensational versions of our winds and rain up here, so you never really know how real the reports are. Hope Nev is ok though.

Luckily for me it had petered out a bit by the time it got to the Hunter, but we still managed 103mm in two major storms at my place. Not complaining about the rain as such, but over a few days would have been nice

Oh and it would have been nice to have my raintank installed already, dammit!

All A-OK! But I appreciate the concern.
I was in Brissy for most of it by coincidence. Tanks all full now, lawn 3 foot high and veggies doing well!
