We have recycled pallets into a chicken house frame, a small garden enclosure and plan another shed in the near future.
Look for the Pallet Woodshed on Google and you'll see where we got the idea.

Thank you. I downloaded the plans as we need something similar around here-Pinky's (my donkey's) cart is much the same only 7 ft shafts

Just found another use for long pallets (doors come on them) You stack them up as a base for a bed and throw your matress on top.
This idea came from "The Salvage Sisters; finding style in the street and inspiration on the attic" by by Kathleen Hackett and Mary Ann Young.
I think its one of the neatest ideas I've found yet and as my box sping is hooped,kaput,no longer supportive, I may give it a try
