Has anyone ever attempted to make a blackberry cordial that is none alcoholic and would be good for a refreshing summer drink if diluted with iced water. If so would appreciate any recipes.

This is the one I use for blackberry and elderberry ...
Cordial
1 tablespoon whole allspice
1 tablespoon cloves
1 piece stick cinnamon
8 quarts of blackeberrys or elderberries
2 quarts cold water
4 pounds granulated sugar
Tie spices in a cloth bag. Pick over and wash berries. Place in preserving kettle; cover with water, and boil until thoroughly soft; then strain. Measure, and to each quart of juice add 2 cups sugar. Add spice bag and boil 20 minutes. Let cool. . Bottle and cork tightly

1. pick blackberries into a plastic bag for an hour.
2. realise that the bag has squashed the berries and that the brambles have opened the bottom of the bag for you.
3. kick back in the shade of a pin tree holding the bag over you mouth and enjoy the blackberry cordial!
