dried up fruit

i have just been given some dried elderberries about 200g, remembering an old demijohn i found in the garage thought i would have a go at wine making, 
only recipes i can find use fresh fruit about 3or4 pounds so i dont know how to use my dried elderberries. if not for wine making how else can i use them
