How do your Cream Legbars lay?

I got 2 POL Cream Legbars this spring and they started to lay nice blue eggs until June. Then they stopped and I have not had a single egg since. They look healthy enough too.
I have heard that Legbars are not regular layers - is that your experience or have I just got a pair that is dud?

mine has not started to lay yet... bought as POL in Sept - so prolly wont now till spring..

Show them a stock pot and the rest of the ingredients for chicken soup?

I have ben thinking of that. I have posted this question on some other forums and the majority of people with cream legbars have said the same - eggs are few and far between and the birds like their 'holidays'.
I suppose I might hang on until the spring rare breed auction at York and get some replacements then if they are still 'resting'.

June is early to stop - but most hens have a break in Winter.
