May I have some sage please?

Want any of my Piment d'Espellete pepper seeds as offered on a previous topic or something else? :dontknow:

Why not start a seed box. On a NZ forum they have been doing this for sometime and it;s very popular.

You put in some of your seeds, bagged and labelled then forward to the next person, who them takes 'some' seeds for their garden and adds some of their surplus to the box and forwards on again, etc. You can build up quite a few seeds this way and you get to share them with others.

You just need someone to start it off, and a thread with the list of names to send on to.

Why not give it a try. :flower:

I would start it but I'm in NZ so a bit of a problem there.

smile_sunshine why not start a new thread, get people to send you their spare seeds in small packets and clearly labelled. Once you have a selection, start a seed waiting list, send your collected seed to the 1st on the list. They then take some seeds and add to the box and post onto the next person etc etc. You'll find that the box will end up with a wide range of seeds. Agreat ay to swap and share.

I've seen it done on other forums, and could be fun. also seen it fall down with someone not forwarding the packet..this way does lead to a more direct contact, my tomato seeds might be growing in Scotland next year.. and quicker - could take a while for seeds to do the rounds... and there is room to swap for non seed things to be swapped too. both methods work fine.
