They are easy to make and are a great accompaniment to <a href=\"..\/..\/index.php\/recipes\/34-recipes\/49-pauls-vegie-burgers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paul\u2019s Vegie Burgers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<p>4 Big Potatoes or 8-10 New Potatoes<\/p>\n<p>Half a Teaspoon (To Teaspoon and a half depending on how spicy you like it) Each of &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Chilli Powder<\/p>\n<p>Coriander Powder<\/p>\n<p>Cumin Powder<\/p>\n<p>Paprika Powder<\/p>\n<p>Teaspoon \u2013 Tablespoon of Turmeric<\/p>\n<p>Pinch of Salt<\/p>\n<p>Pinch of Black Pepper<\/p>\n<h3>Method<\/h3>\n<p>Wash the Potatoes but don&#8217;t Peel them<\/p>\n<p>Parboil until slightly soft (5-10 mins)<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile mix the spices in a bowl<\/p>\n<p>Coat the Potatoes evenly in the spice mixture, the turmeric acts as a bulking agent and for colour and helps evenly coat the potatoes with the spice mixture<\/p>\n<p>Drizzle with olive oil<\/p>\n<p>Place in an oven on gas 7 or 425 F 220 C for around 15 minutes or until potatoes are crispy and golden brown<\/p>\n<p>Serve with <a href=\"..\/..\/index.php\/recipes\/34-recipes\/49-pauls-vegie-burgers\" target=\"_parent\" rel=\"noopener\">Paul\u2019s Veggie Burgers<\/a><a href=\"..\/..\/index.php\/recipes\/34-recipes\/49-pauls-vegie-burgers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">.<\/a> Tomato Salsa and a Grin<\/p>\n<h1>Tomato Salsa<\/h1>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p>1 Tin of Tomatoes or 4-6 Fresh Tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>1 Chilli or a big pinch of chilli powder<\/p>\n<p>Half a large onion or one small or 3 spring onions<\/p>\n<p>Few drops of Balsamic Vinegar or Nasturtium Vinegar<\/p>\n<h3>Method\/Procedure<\/h3>\n<p>Chop the Chilli and Onion and fry in a little oil until they soften<\/p>\n<p>Chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan<\/p>\n<p>Drizzle a few drops of the vinegar into the pan continue to heat for another 2-3 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Liquidize if necessary<\/p>\n<p>Serve with burgers and wedges wearing nothing but socks.Article written by Dave Hamilton.
