{"id":146,"date":"2008-12-10T16:44:43","date_gmt":"2008-12-10T15:44:43","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-09-14T11:05:08","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T10:05:08","slug":"mixed-fruit-and-yoghurt-with-seeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.selfsufficientish.com\/main\/mixed-fruit-and-yoghurt-with-seeds\/","title":{"rendered":"Mixed Fruit and Yoghurt with Seeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mixed Fruit and Yoghurt with Seeds<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>This can be made without the seeds if you don\u2019t have any, but seeds will make it a lot tastier and will set you up for the day.\u00a0 This is a tasty alternative to breakfast cereal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200ml\/g low fat, live yoghurt<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 largish handful of mixed seeds, such as &#8211;<\/strong><br \/>\nsunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds,\u00a0linseed or flaxseed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can lightly toast these by putting them in a dry pan on a low flame for around 2- 3 minutes until they are\u00a0 golden brown.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At least two pieces of any of the following:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 or \u00bd banana<\/li>\n<li>1 or \u00bd apple<\/li>\n<li>Half a cup of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries,<\/li>\n<li>1 tangerine<\/li>\n<li>A couple of slices of pineapple<\/li>\n<li>A Plum<\/li>\n<li>A Pear<\/li>\n<li>(you get the idea)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some like to add honey for sweetness or to have it with extra breakfast cereal to really keep them going as it&#8217;s not always enough on its own, muesli, oatflakes\u00a0 and\u00a0 Weetabix are all good additions.<\/p>\n<p>Article written by Dave Hamilton.
