What I don't have...but wish I did!
Ok, Gettingthere's post set me thinking. Are there things you wish you had, but don't for some reason?
For instance, I wish I had some kind of alternative source of electricity, such as solar panels. Unfortunately, I can't afford them, and as this is a council place and not somewhere I plan on staying, I think it would be pointless. Instead I settle for getting my supply from Ecotricity.
Or maybe there are things you've given up in a bid to be more 'Ish', but secretly wish you could have your cake and eat it.

Definitely insulation. Although our house is double glazed there is absolutely no insulation anywhere else in the house. All fine and dandy to stop the heat going out through the windows. It just goes through the ceiling instead!
And I'd love a reed bed water system and solar panels. And of course, a husband who cuts the grass when he's said he will. Anyone got one of those? Probably about as rare as a husband who knows what washing up is :)

A bigger house, a truck, a Kitchen Aid mixer, insulation, double glazing,a double sink, a grey water filtering system AND a rainwater filtering system.
2 milk goats, 20 guinea fowl, a veal calf, a meat goat, 2 pigs and a place to get lots of salmon to smoke!

No experience with money trees but if you plant a silver dollar plant in your garden its supposed to attract wealth!

Silver dollar plant? I've never heard of it, do you know the Latin name? Oh, wait, is it also known as honesty?
(Edited) I just googled, and yes, its honesty. I've actually always wanted to grow honesty, its beautiful but I've never seen the seeds anywhere. I'd rather not order them off the net, I've had several bad experiences with mail order plants and the like. Can anyone help?

And I HAVE seeds and can't send them to you because of customs laws-what an irony-look at the next Seedy Saturday or other seed swap-or post in the swap thread that you want some.

A lemon tree.
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?
