Hallo

After years of wanting a piece of scrub to call my own I've finally tracked one down. However its about an acre of 6ft high brambles, nettles, various tumbledown flint outbuildings and its going to be a very long time before I'm planting any veg!

The OH and me already keep chooks (and waaay too many of them!) and I've been very partial to getting my hands dirty for years, so this is a natural progression for us.

Hoping to pick up tips along the way, mainly how to clear a jungle, so I'll be reading the topics with great interest!

See you later!

Haha ah well its just part of the latin name of the plant coltsfoot (tussilago farfara). Coltsfoot was the name of the road I grew up on. Tussilago is also the kennel affix for my dogs.

So there ya have it!

Well Andy after having a few halves of Hugh F-W's nettle ale the other night, I think I could get a good few barrels of the stuff on the go lol  :drunken:

I could use it as payment for my friends hard work, maybe then I could rope them in with all the other big jobs that will need doing...

Alcoholic bribery, fantastic!
