Girly Topic!! 2nd hand Mooncup...!?

Post: # 109201Post Urban Ayisha »

how gross, weird, unhygienic... (or not?) would it be to use someone elses mooncup? i only ask cos i will soon be moving onto the larger size post birth and it seems a shame just to chuck the old one out.

if that is too gross.... any ideas for a 101 for a used mooncup ha ha ha ha

I would imagine that if it was boiled then it would be OK. I don't personally use one but in theory would use a 2nd hand one.

Oh and don't be too hasty to get rid of your current one. I've had 2 c-section deliveries (NOT by choice!) so if I was you, I'd keep your current one for now. Just in case.

Hope this makes sense, am sleep deprived!

I don´t think that´s too gross, specially if its washed and sterilised. I guess its up to whoever wants it....perhaps better to offer to someone you know?

But do hold on to for now, I´m not going to give you CS scares - but anything is possible and besides you may find that you don´t need the bigger size. But how old are you? They reckon on the bigger size when you´re over 30 regardless of whether you´ve had a vaginal birth or not. If you´re gonna be 30 soonish, or by the time you finish BFing then perhaps you might as well get rid of it. Not very coherent this morning sorry

I suppose there's no reason why if it was boiled or sterilised it wouldn't be fine to use a second-hand one. Rationally speaking. Still wouldn't fancy it though.
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?
