Watching the Glenn Miller story on telly at the mo and really enjoying the fantastic music and the great spirit that was evident there... not to mention the pretty dresses that the girlies used to wear...

Amazing really - that music from way back then is still so very popular today.

Any other fans out there???

Not really. But I have just been watching a very nice programme about the making of Dark Side Of The Moon. 'Course, you youngsters won't have any idea about that - we had real music in those days.

Shirlz, I am with you - I LOVE GLENN MILLER music!!! There is a GM band that tours (unfortunate initials!) - I'd love to go! Off to see Jools Holland the week after next.

Dark side of the moon - pink floyd?? Cool stuff. I bet that was a really good one to watch Muddy.

Tigz - Jools Holland.... the weekend I left Herefordshire I won tickets to go and see Jools Holland in concert at the Hay Festival and I couldn't go... SOOOOOOOOOOO unfair..... would love to see him.

We did bump into Julian Clary at the festival though...
