looking good (the veggies and you!)

everything in your garden is much further forward than mine.. your beans are lot higher.. you pumpkins have pumpkins on them (mine don't ) and your sweetcorn is flowering (mine is only thinking about it...)

Well impressed. Not a weed in sight.

I keep trying to grow runner beans but have to accept I do not have the weather for them. Currently they are just hanging onto life by a thread although the weather forecast is good at the moment so they might pick up in the next week or two.

Never even heard of Potimarrons. They look like melons?

Potimarrons are a French type of pumpkin which has a marron (chestnut) flavour. They are well ahead of my butternuts.

Where are you in that you can't grow runner beans? I thought they liked cool(er) climates - if we'd had a very hot summer I might not have been so successful with the runners.

I do have weeds but they are lurking under the veg where the hoe can't get.... and there's a weedy patch where I've just lifted my red onions and I was embarrassed about showing it!

Thanks for the comments everyone!
