I've grown butternut squashes trained in an upward spiral on a heavy duty wigwam. Would have worked if the summer hadn't been a wash out.
Currently got a 3 sister bed on th ego with sweet corn,climbing french beans corgette and a pumpkin. courgette and pumpkin are next to each other in the centre and I'm trying to send the pumpkin away (kind of working.) Ony problem I had was a moment of madness, and cut off the pumpkin in mistake of one of my courgettes (I'm growing the yellow one ball variety, which looks idential to a small pumpkin

)
OK as I now have two more on it, I'll probably now limit to these two. The courgettes are good as well, I thought they might be slower to turn to marrows than the normal, but you have to crop them to stop you getting football sized yellow "marrows". So the three plants I've got planted are certainly keeping the two of us over supplied!, had courgette based tea's for the last 3 nights!. Courgette carbonara tonight
