fresh plaice
I was up this morning quite early so i decided to go fishing off our local pier, i only spent a couple of hours there but i caught 2 plaice one i threw back because it was to small but brought the other home which wieghed about 1/2 lb, when i got home all i did was fry it in butter with black pepper and sea salt served with some fresh wholmeal bread and shared it with Jane the taste was pure heaven, you just can't get fresher than that.

Re: fresh plaice
Long time ago I caught a nice Sea bass 2lb plus along with a Grey Mullet of similar size from under the pier at Bournemouth. I ate the bass within two hours of catching it, not tasted another like it, real tasty
Re: fresh plaice
