Hello from Newcastle
Hi, just starting on the road to self-sufficiency. We've made a good start with the bit of garden we've got (waiting for an allotment). Managed to make jam & chutney for the first time this year.
I hope to be making a lot of use of the site in the future. I found the site looking for a fudge recipe - there are so many variations!
Thanks in advance for all the useful tips
Gareth

Mmm, chutney... Welcome!
Ever tried growing chillies? Just throw the seeds from a chilli in some earth and inside 4 months you'll have a bunch of chillies ready to eat! Then you can add a bit of homemade spice to your homemade chutneys!
