Maybe if my wife was amember she could enter it in the harvesting comp... it would have to be harvested as it couldn't be classed as home grown......

Harvested most of my pumpkins yesterday - planted in pure mature manure and they took over the world. My son is helping me wash them

Wonderful! What variety are they?
(I think I'm going to have two pumpkins this year - about golf ball size...)

It's invincible from Unwins
Slightly disappointed that they didn't turn out to have purple skins like the packet showed but they still taste good, especially roasted. Packet said up to 5kg and mine are up to 6.5kg! There's also a little butternut on the photo, but I'm gonna let mine grow a few more weeks if possible
Had pumpking risotto for dinner tonight

Here's my entry. I was going to try and take another one, without the rotten tomato, but it looks like it's going to rain for the rest of September so this will have to do!

Some lovely pictures indeed. Red, could you possibly make yours a bit bigger? I'm hungrily trying to make out what those pale green spears at bottom right might be. Max width is supposed to be 700 pixels... Cheers!
