WTF?

Post: # 126639Post Clara »

I'm horrified......

Why the hell wasn't he with his parents and nevermind suing them, shouldn't someone be asking how bad their parenting skills are to raise a child capable of that? And furthermore, if he'd got in to the croc pit, they would've probably been responsible for his death by neglect......

That's just unbelievable. Didn't anyone ELSE notice either. Scary thought as to what he'll move onto next.

Well exactly, sadistic childhood behaviour towards animals is an indicator for adult behaviour towards people, i believe it is an accepted tenant of criminology.

Oh, if only he'd actually managed to get into the croc enclosure.

They'd have a film of him being eaten.

Yeah I mean, the thrill of seeing a croc eat another animal, I could just about get my head around (in that its the sort of thing we watch on wildlife programmes and a 7 year old might not necessarily understand the difference), but bludgeoning the rest of them with a stone....this kid needs help, quickly.

I am amazed at that child. I agree with the zoo suing the parents. Where were the parents? A 7 yr old let loose? Shocking!!

When I read this story I was gobsmacked, it seemed so awful, what must go through the mind of a child to make him do such a thing???

I was so shocked at this story, then today somebody came into my work and was telling me how they'd lost their dog on the weekend and spent all of Saturday night out looking for him. A vet had called them on Sunday to say he'd been brought in and treated because a couple had found him in the town centre covered in blood. The vet had examined him and said the dog had been stabbed. Could not believe it. Luckily, the dog was alright, because of the breed the knife had just gone into muscle, whereas the vet thought that if it was a different breed the dog would have been killed.

I think there should be harsher penalties on cruelty to animals, because really it says so much about you underneath.

I don't understand how someone could do that? No matter what age, I mean the kid is bad enough and seriously needs sectioning or something but stabbing a pet dog too? Seriously... what goes through people's minds? Maybe it's because I like animals more than I like humans... but clearly I'm not the only one p'd off?!
