I've read conflicting things about whether to destroy the plants or not. Once they are infected, with it come back year after year? Although they will still fruit next year, am I better off replacing the whole lot?
I've got some runners taking root in pots from the polytunnel plants which are healthy ... I was hoping to enlarge my outdoor bed, but am quite prepared to replace them with these runners if that's the best route.

The polytunnel plants are still bearing loads of fruits ..... and loads of flowers left ... I'm putting everything in the freezer from now on, so we can have the strawberriest strawberry smoothie ever made on Yule morning
