The problem with them is - they are mostly translations from the English... Which is why I dont' want to keep them, and they won't be great for teaching/learning English, either. Plus, most of them are old, very old...

Just googled Miss Blyton's name and read the Wikipedia entry.
Not having been brought up on her books, or read them, I think I'll look for a couple.
We read Nancy Drew mysteries when I was a girl. I also loved "At the Back of the North Wind" by George MacDonald.
