Wartime cheese pudding

I saw the recepie on Friday night and made it for lunch on Saturday for the kids and myself, it was a great success!

It struck a chord with me because I realised my grandmother and my mother used to make something very similar for my sister and I after school for our tea.

My grandmother was born in 1904 and my grandfather was in the RAF too, sadly he died during the war following an accident at work.

We lost nana in 1984 but she was a big influence in our lives, and it was good to be able to relive those times and appreciate what they went through...
