What's for dinner?

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Thank you!, Will be trying that soon, possibly with chorizo and lots of mozzarella inside. hmmmmmmmm :happy7:

Ooh and while I'm on a recipe roundup: StripeyPixieSocks! How do you make peshwari naan? I do some pretty good curries but usually stick to chapatis as they're pretty easy, My OH loves peshwari naan so would be great if I could make them for him.

It's bliss! Completely unofficial, just a day when I don't do any housework and make a very easy supper. I made soaps and Christmas cards yesterday which felt fine as it was my soi-disant day off, would have felt very neglectful of the housework/laundry/cooking had it been any other day, which makes no sense at all! :geek:

Tonight I have the inlaws over so it is the full shebang that has been on hold since MILs birthday (FIL was unwell)

Roast Chicken
Roast Potatoes
Roast Parsnips
Mashed Potatoes
Steamed carrots
Gravy

Choice of Apple pie and custard or Chocolate orange ice cream for pudding.

All Gluten free (MIL is coeliac)

We'll be eating the left overs for a week

We had sausages with stewed apple, onions and potato and butter bean mash - the mash wasn't all that amazing, wouldn't bother with it again. Spot the deliberate mistake - yep, I forgot to cook any veg! Only realised when I came to serve up. Ah well, preghead, who'd be without it??
