First steps towards self sufficiency

Post: # 133030Post L 11OBS »

Hello from Nottingham :salute:

I have this crazy plan to become self sufficient, there's no way I can afford it now but over the next 10 years I want to get things in place whilst I'm earning good money, as soon as the kids have flown the nest I plan to give it all up and go fully self sufficient.

What have I done so far............ well the chickens are in place and laying :thumbleft: and a section of the garden became a veg plot earlier in the year, I'm also on the waiting list for numerous local allotment sites. Also looking at ways of making our home more self suffucientish :thumbright:

That's a good start, I'm not at the chicken stage as I don't have enough room to keep them humanely
