Just a quick hello to introduce myself to your great site.
I live in North Wales with my Husband and teenagers and during the back end of 2007 we downsized just in time to avoid the credit crunch crippling us.
So far we have managed to outride the storm mainly by lurking on forums like these, so I guess that now is the time for me to join in properly
We are into growing our own fruit, veg and herbs in the small walled garden which we now have (all completely organic)and have even managed to become quite proficient with our jam, pickles and chutney attempts
We are regular members of our local freecycle groups and don't buy anything that we can make or grow ourselves.
My husband is having a go at guerilla gardening this year and is already marking out sites on the town map.
