Poor Me! *sniff*

Post: # 142784Post growingthings »

Not really but really! Ouch!

I had a (big) mole excised off my back this afternoon, and even though the cut was only about an inch long, with a few stitches, I can't get over how uncomfortable it is.

I'm not the most generously proportioned of girls and this is right next to my rather protruding back bone, so I think that the lack of flesh is playing a part in this, and when you've got two smallies to keep running around after it is certainly getting moved about.

I am about to hit a significant birthday soon and seem to have entered a faze in my life where I have to keep seeing the Doc's to get bits of me lobbed off! I had a ganglian removed soon after the smallest was born, and I'm wondering how many other parts of me will sprout, I'm worrying that all this prolonged contact with manure is making me grow extra body part!

Anyway just after the sympathy vote really as its getting late and I can't slouch 'cos its hurting too much :(

Ooh! Ouch. :hugish: I can imagine that with the cut being on your back it will be really sore. Can you sit and lay comfortably? Oo and all that picking children up must stretch it. :pale: I hope you recover quickly. :hugish:

Aw, poor thing!

Was having the mole removed painful? I ahve one on my face that i think will have to go soon. Its not huge, but i'm still worried it might hurt!

Sending healing vibes from over here for a swift recovery and less pain!

Poor you - hope it heals up quickly! :hugish:

I've had a large mole removed and it was completely painless both during the op and afterwards. A Swiss dermatologist sewed me up so beautifully I can only faintly see the scar if I pucker my skin up, otherwise I can't find it!

The op itself was painless, if you don't count the sharp scratches of the anesthetic injections. I think that the reason that it is uncomfortable is because of where it is, rather than what I've had done. It's just somewhere where you can't help but move it. :?

Wasn't much fun in bed either, as I always start the night on my side, but as I turned in my sleep I kept catching it. More a case of the stitches being caught rather than anything else, it has already started to itch Ffairy so I think that the vibes are already working

My mole was as big as the tip of your finger and protruded out as much as well, so it was becoming really sore as my clothes kept catching on it, (it was officially a nevis apparently) so I would think that you should have no worries about having the one done on your face, especially if it is becoming a nuisance like mine was.

Ouch, Lorna! :hugish:

I hope it heals quickly - I know how uncomfortable the stitches can be... I had a mole removed from my back too - it was sat under my bra strap & I kept scratching it till it bled... I couldn't wear a bra for a couple of weeks - interesting times....

Keep your chin up - you might try making the other half play with the manure pile... you never know what might grow! Actually, I have a dung heap outside...now, where's Andy......
