looking for faith addis books

Post: # 141953Post Berti »

if you are one of those, who has the faith addis Down to earth series on a shelf gathering dust, please contact me.
I have enjoyed the series (seems long ago) and thought it might be nice to read the books ....... down nostalgia lane.

cheers :)

I only have the first, and was spurred on to read the rest, and found that even second hand they were v. expensive.

I got all the others from the library through their interloans system, could you get them in English your way or is that not a possibility? :?

uhmmm no, here they don't even know who faith addis is..............and interlibrary loan might be possible but then chances are almost zero they have them.
they only have the big names in english..........

but we will see. maybe somebody offers them cheap (I found one in UK offering it for ONE POUND but not willing to send to netherlands.......and someone else charging 4,50 pounds shipping.......)
it just would be nice, not something I really HAVE to ........ :) I liked the series so much.
thought the books would be better.........

There are some used ones on Amazon.co.uk which seem reasonable. And some of the sellers will ship to Holland. In fact if you find one who say the won't and you contact them they will sometimes change the lsiting if the book isn't too heavy and let you buy it anyway.
Growing old is much better then the alternative!

I did edit my post above but it hasn't come through. Don't Amazon also take debit cards and cheques also? Do you have a paypal account as I think amazon also takes paypal.
If having a credit card is a problem... tell me about it lol, there is a virgin credit card that can only be used if you pre load it with money so this may be an option... I know it's not for me but hey ho onwards and upwards...
