The first tasting of last years brew

Post: # 143973Post chilitony »

Tonite i cracked open 4 different dimijons of my wine.
First i tried the Raspberry which i had a glutton of fruit that i did'nt know what to do with so made 3 gallons.
Not bad, but very raspberry, quite strong nice bucket.
Then i had the white, made from local grapes from someones garden round the corner from me which would have gone to waste.
unique taste but not bad, better than some cheat plonk. quite strong. :pale:
Then i had the red which came from another big garden where my friend is the gardener.
Very nice, quite strong :drunken:
I am now sat here with a glass of my Infamous Marrow Rum, Smooth, dark & very strong uum

Well done!!! :flower:

I got some demijohns off freecycle last year, but have not got around to using them yet.

I'm eagerly awaiting blackberry season!!!

BB wine is good, but only after a MINIMUM of 6 moonths of storage in the bottle in my opinion.

I'm currently tasting some bb wine we made and it's not bad, can't wait til it's matured for few more months/years!
