Re: Eco dating
I have an ish pen pal that sort of just happened, arranged between ourselves. Maybe, if you and someone else have built up a friendship on the site and PM'd each other a few times, you could extend that to letter writing
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Re: Eco dating
Yeah, I was thinking more email writing actually - knowing what I'm like I'd never get round to letter writing. although there is now a website that prints off and sends letters for you.Milims wrote:I have an ish pen pal that sort of just happened, arranged between ourselves. Re: Eco dating
Getting a script for a dating site would be easy, they sell those on Ebay for cheap. But I'm not a programmer, I have no idea what it takes to go from script to website.

Re: Eco dating
I was in exactely the same predicament...until recently
Treid all the usual sites
I joined match' for 1 month
The difference this time was i was VERY VERY specific about myself and what i wanted and where i saw myself
I've met the man of my dreams who although isn't an isher, he's interested and getting enthusiastically stuck into eveything, plus he brings new info for me into the relationship
I extended my boundaries but kept to who i am
I worked
Good luckxxx

Re: Eco dating
well Mr Fly isn't particularly 'ish' but it's growing on him!
He's always been though a good loving sincere human being, who demonstrates those values in life, and for me those things are the dealbreakers.
I agree that there are certain types of men out there who wouldn't like mooncups, and want women who wear high heels and lots of make up, not waterproofs and wellies, but there are a lot of guys out there who just want somebody loving and kind, wellies and all! And they often pop up in the most unlikely places.

Those things aren't necessarily mutually exclusive! I do waterproofs, wellies, monncups etc and Make up and High heels!! ( I must add that I do it in a retro vintage pin up way not in a 21st century fashion victim, perma tanned way!)flyonthewall wrote:.

Have you got a photo of you looking like that then Loobylou? I mean the retro vintage pin up of course - we all do wellies.

no, they definitely aren't mutually exclusive, and I think 'ish' philosophy is fab when it comes to creating your own style. Much rather a nice rosy glow from the garden than a perma tan!

Re: Eco dating
Well since you ask MMM, it would be rude not to. Don't have many pics available at the mo as they're all on our external hard drive which is in storage, this one is the best I could find, had to crop some others out of it:Millymollymandy wrote:Have you got a photo of you looking like that then Loobylou? Hope it loads, haven't done this before! (disclaimer: I was quite drunk and it was a party at my local tattooist which is run by a mate, hence the amount of leg on show to show off my tattoo!)

Re: Eco dating
That's really cool!
I can't see your tattoo unless you've got stocking tops tattoed on your thigh!
Thanks for posting it and I'm sure some of the guys on the forum will be happy too.
Whoops - edited to say I can see your tattoo now - must be my eyes but it sort of blends in with the fabric of your dress!
