Lucky day yesterday!!
Pop over to see my neighbour yesterday, she was showing me the veggies that she is growing. Any way I came home with loads of seedlings. She gave me some carrots, loads of beetroot, broccoli, and cauliflower. So I have put them on the window sill
. I am going to take her a jar of homemade Strawberry Jam later.

Stay at home Mummy to Orin 8, Trixie 6 and Temogen 4 . Also three Chickens Dottie, Poppy and Dr Mumbo. Three cats called Flossie and Pickle and Lexi.

Brilliant. This is what it's all about for me too! The other day, I had my first ever "over the garden gate" chat with a neighbour. I ended up giving her a broad bean plant and a tomato seedling, and she gave me a new recipe to try.

Does that mean broad beans transplant easily? I've got loads planted far too close together.vegbox-recipes wrote:Brilliant. This is what it's all about for me too! I shouldn't worry about them being close, they always seem to manage OK when I plant them on top of eachother!

I planted mine about that int he row, with another row about the same apart, then left a path and did the same again. They were very healthy and productive. Rabbits ate alot back this year so I've only managed to save a few
