Enjoy your dinner, they look wonderful - our peas will be out of the freezer, although the purple-sprouting and kale are still fantastic.

The peas are in the polytunnel but the carrots are in a mayonnaise bucket that over wintered in the conservatory and went outside about 6 weeks ago.Millymollymandy wrote:Was that in the polytunnel? It must be pretty warm in there!
I hadn't tried this variety of carrot (Mokum) before but they are thickly sown and as they are stumpy they don't even try to twiddle.
Only problem is of course, the flavour is pleasant but not outstanding ... not a patch on Amsterdam Forcing.

My carrots are just peeping through and my peas are about an inch above the ground so I'll be joining you for lunch in about 10 weeks I reckon!!
