I like to go a-hammering

Post: # 153716Post StripyPixieSocks »

I've been taking my jewellery skills up a notch lately on the way to full scale casting via learning to solder etc.

Yesterday my hammer, planishing block and a whole load of other tools turned up to enable me to teach myself to hammer sterling silver... I had a brilliant time!!!!!!

I can't seem to get the Flickr photos to post here so: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stripypixiesocks/

It's the first 4 photos, I made them yesterday

The little hook and eye clasp is only a teeny 10mm... so cute :flower:

Today I will be mostly hammering, making Crumpets and making Potato Cakes... busy, busy, busy!

They're pretty.

I get very jealous of the jewellery casters on Instructables, so please show me anything you cast!

The 'casting' stage may take a while as we've only just progressed to the hammering stage, next comes the soldering and moulding stage but have no fear we will show off our creativity :salute:

Aye I did that but it kept saying something about an error finding the photos dimensions... I think Flickr is having a nervous breakdown the last few months or something
