clickety click!
My knitting needles have been busy lately:

and

I'm in love with both! the pink cardie could have done with being a bit longer. I will see if i can stretch it a bit when i wash it.
The gingerbread man is just cute! His raisins didn't come out too well, but he's still cute.
Both have been ravelled here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/thefeef ... --snowcoat

Heehee, I love that ginger man....
And the cardi looks lovely Fee! Well done that lady..... looks warm too
Muddywitch made my dreams come true & brought me some double pointed needles, so I am going to make some socks & hats for the forthcoming winter.... yeah, it seems like a long way off, but I figured if I made them now, they will be ready for when the cold starts coming back...... brr!!

Me too - I remember that story from looking at your work!
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less travelled by
And that has made all the difference.

Excellent stuff, Fee. Cropped cardigans are always a la mode - very Chanel

Great stuff Fee! I still haven't finsihed the jumper I started about 10 years ago and now I've bought wool and patterns for two more whilst I was in England but haven't even thought about starting them! Think I'll wait for the autumn/winter when I've got more time and the dark indoor evenings are longer.

They're fantastic!!
I haven't done any knitting for ages now... should do more but I'm not sure if I have the patience to make a whole jumper... I get distracted very easily *ahem*

Let us be silly and free

Re: clickety click!
Both patterns are from Simply Knitting issue eithr 48 or 53...
The cardie was ok! It's an aran weight yarn held double to make it chunky, ad it didn't take that long at all. I usually get bored after a little while when doing anything big and repetitive - i have mountains of cross stitched motifs because i got bored doing anything bigger... THe cardie was ok though. It took me months of putting it down and picking it up, but it probably took me about a month of evening knitting really...just stretched over 3 months because i couldn't knuckle down to it.
I did the gingerbread man afterwards because i wanted something quick and easy after the cardie. He's made out of a ball of orange toy dk. I'm going to get a more gingerbready colour to make a gingerbread lady.
I'm knitting Blossom he Elephant (from Irresistible Knits by Alan Dart). Its coming along nicely. I'll post pics when she's done.
