I must confess I generally wear jeans and (organic coton!) teeshirts, so don' have much scope as far as nitting/wool/fancy clothes are concerned!
love the bunnies though!

Edit: talk about variety on Ish, there is another thread running on alternative recipes for bunny

As I ping from tree to tree I wonder... why do I seem to have transformed into a pinging tree-dwelling thing?
Re: Iowa, USA
I find my self wearing bunny ears this weekend, in honour of all the wooly rabbits

Have finally looked at your bunny pics!
Chinchilla - now I think that's the name of that fluffy cat breed I was thinking of!
P.S. I have a bit of a fascination with maps, atlases, google earth etc etc. No Sat Nav for me!

Chinchilla is its own animal. Member of the Rodent family, closely related to rabbits, but they're a different species.
Re: Iowa, USA
Yes, it is it's own animal, BUT... rabbit breeders, except for Flemish Giant breeders, call their Light Gray rabbits "Chinchillia" colored. In a Flemish it IS Light Gray!Ellendra wrote:Chinchilla is its own animal. Member of the Rodent family, closely related to rabbits, but they're a different species.

Welcome in - Love bunnies, we had pet rabbits for the same reason - OH is allergic to cats but not dogs or rabbits, I just love the bunny personality they're as diverse as humans

Say what you mean and be who you are, Those who mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind

Jeepers! Are they trying to confuse people? That's like calling something a rabbit cow :p
Re: Iowa, USA
one last reminder... an Angora Goat, produces "Mohair" . and Angora Rabbit produces "Angora Wool"
Cashmier is a wool type, it can come from many breeds of sheep/goats...
enjoy ;)

Re: Iowa, USA
Hi Joel! I've been to your site many times to look at the bunnies! I've thought about getting a bunny or two in the past which is how I ran across it. I grew up in CR and go through the Amanas when I'm heading back home. I'm currently in Oskaloosa. Nice to see you on the forum, I'm new here too!
