I'm sorry Fee :hugish: , but on the bright side, it's better to go off abroad for a while when you are not in a relationship with anyone. You'll enjoy it much more and you have been talking about going to China for quite a while now.

That make sense? Probably not!
Jeez - hope your hubby isn't reading this!!!

that makes perfect sense to me, a one night thing fuelled by alcohol I would try to forgive, as long as it was just the once. we've got family together and a happy life i'd hate to throw away for the sake of a drunken mistake
Looking forward to being sufficientish

I must be a bit odd then because I definitely wouldn't be that forgiving. Perhaps it's from years of tolerating my ex who "wandered" on a fairly regular basis.

I must admit I made it very plain to my current OH very early on that I just don't "do" sharing. He was separated when we met and also I made absolutely certain that this was true before we became involved - I had too much experience of being the the "separated" wife with my ex. Apparently that was the line he always used - that we were separated but just had to share our house until things were "sorted out".

I trust OH implicitly and I'm so much happier with him. However I don't think he's in any doubt that I definitely would go if he strayed - no excuses. Fortunately he's had years of being "on the road" as a musician and has had more one night stands offered (and refused) than a lot of people have had hot dinners. I feel that if your partner can't respect you enough that they have a one-night stand then you are better off without him/her.Too many people are forgiving because they are fearful that they won't meet someone else, too.

As I say, this is my opinion only, everyone is different!

Fee, I hope you get selected for your trip to China. This may be the best thing that ever happened to you!

oooh, i'll be posting about it while i#'m there - can't do nine months without Ish!!

I would have forgiven him. I know that it was a one off, and that its not going to happen again. She did it to get back at her boyfriend, and, i suspect to almost get back at J for having someone else. She's not interested in having any kind of relationship with him. So i would have forgiven it, but he said that he doesn't think that he should be in a relationship with anyone.

Anyway...i sent off the application form today, and i'll be copying my degree certificate tomorrow ready to send to the bloke. I've explained to him that i won't get my passport til Tuesday. I'm just hoping that its not too late :?

You're all far more forgiving than I am, obviously.

If I can keep my bits safely under wraps then so can he! I'd strangle the b*****d, but not to death. I'm with the woman who cut all her husband's suits up

Anyway Fee, it sounds like you're getting things sorted. I hope the China trip comes off and you have a fab time. And don't worry about the height thing. Some Chinese men are very tall - have you seen their Olympic team? So you never know maybe can share clothes with one of them:oops:

Sorry to hear that Fee but it sounds like China will be the ideal antidote. I know someone who went off to China to teach after splitting up with his wife. I gather he met his new partner there and they are now getting married.

Have a great time and do let us know how you get on.

Zoe
