ground-elder isn't so bad
ground-elder isn't so bad
Ground elder, sweet peas and a bit of lavender... looks a bit out of place in my hell-hole of a house, but I do think it is very pretty

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.

Annpan and Boboff those pictures and arrangements are beautiful. I wish I could grow flowers but they die a cruel death in my care. Truly amazing arrangements. I pay for arrangements to look that good--well done.

Re: ground-elder isn't so bad
Oooh I really must try growing some sweet peas as I never pick my precious outside flowers for indoors apart from the odd peony or dahlia, and you have to with sweet peas!
I hadn't realised that ground elder flowered until recently when I visited a garden which had that variegated ground elder - and especially hadn't realised it was an umblilifer!
It was really gorgeous.

I suppose his OH would...Silver Ether wrote: I can smell then fron here ... and who cares if your gay or not ...
You are all making me very envious - my sweetpeas are still quite small without any blossom, although I started them off early enough, and planted them out, and mollycoddled them - I love sweetpeas...

Re: ground-elder isn't so bad
We inherited the sweet peas from the previous owner, they are prolific, but not tidy or looked after (behind 4ft tall weeds and the recycling bins) so I bring them in the house to look at them
