A big hello  from a student nurse in brimingham

Post: # 159384Post SamNurse »

 just wanted to say you guys :andy: :dave: are great, ive read :read2: your book and found it very interesting
ive read lots of books on self suffeciency (mostly john seymours work) and your book is fun and easy to read with lots of good ideas.
ive already done (inspired by the book) registered on to freecycle and got a free and new bike so that i can cycle to placement along a canal i found links my place to work. This has the add on effect of making my fiance feel better beacuse she seems to think ill get run over on the roads.
Also im currently making a 'love :love4: quilt' (from the film 'american quilt') based on the design in the book for my fiance for our 1st year anniversity. if i can ill post a picture on the website when its done.
and im also collecting metro magazines to they arnt being thrown in the bins and ill start later making totallly recycled cards for birthdays, wedding, get well etc
for the future im planning on getting a house with my fiance and going to grow vegetables and get a allotment. being a nurse ill need some quiet and stress free time to myself.... hey maybe even she will join in
keep up the good work and ill post something later

Hi there Sam! Welcome and enjoy yourself
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

You still haven't answered the question re. your avatar because it may be that you are seeing it and we're not. So for now I'll take it off because it's just an empty box.
