Yep, it was on the news a few weeks ago that English apples are on the market much earlier than usual.

At teh farm opposite our allotments there's an apple tree nick-named the harvest apples since they are always ready around harvest. Theya re the same this year so it must depend on variety .... or local weather...or...

We always have some blackberries ready around now, only certain bushes facing certain directions. There also seems to be a 'variety' of Elder that we have down Cow Lane that are ready now, much earleir than Elders I see elsewhere but quite local.

I only noticed this year the Wild Plums of on the farm are much earlier than my allotment tree & most cultivated plums- the wild ones are now almost over and the culitvated ones just beginning.
