Raspberry glut

Post: # 163754Post Miffy »

Hi y'all

I have tons and tons and tons of raspberries. Which is cool.

I am eating some, freezing some, making jam out of some.

Any other ideas? Can you make wine out of raspberries?

Thanks for the suggestions! I am defo trying out the wine, not so sure about the vodka though!

How do you dry them? cos that sounds space saving too (freezer is now getting rather full of rasps!)

Fool is a geletain and cream based pudding with fruit and wine in it.

the rasberry gin you turn into a liquer by adding sugar too the berries and soaking in the spirit.

Drying them - is you get good sun spread out on a mesh frame or make a solar dryer, alternative is to get a dyhydrator or put them in a very low oven for a few hours i guess.
