I have a massive stash of wrapping paper, tissue paper and paper bags I've saved from gifts I've been given. I've been building it up for years and since I'm very frugal when I use it I just seem to keep acquiring more (or maybe I'm just stingy with gifts!)
Since most of my friends do the same I expect some of my wrapping paper is on its third or fourth life now. I've never found myself needing to buy any new.

I have used maps I no longer need as wrapping paper and that always works well.

A few years ago I had a parcel from Lakeland that had brown paper used to pack out the box - there was loads of it just folded in half and I've been using that ever since! It was too good to throw away (it was pre council recycling) and I'm a hoarder so it went straight into a drawer
