Hello from Shropshire!!

Post: # 165755Post Clarry »

Hi Everyone!

Came across the site this afternoon looking for ideas of what to do with all the plums in my garden. (Have had the book for some time though).

I'm about to start the 2nd year of a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and a Mum to a 4 yr old so I have my hands full.

Looking forward to sharing ideas!

Thank you everyone!

SusieGee- technically we live in Wales but our postal address is Shropshire. I'm originally from Shropshire too. (10 mins on the bike and we're there!) SO best of both worlds.

Hello, I've just joined the site and too have a lot of plums to do things with! We're going to try plum wine and have hunted out the demi-johns which have been moving house with us for the last 10 years since they were last used. I'll also try some plum jam and we have stewed and frozen lots already. Let me know if you come up with any other ideas!!

Well you never know what's the betting my mum knows your mums second cousin three times removed (it's like that in Shropshire for anyone wondering!)

It most certainly is! When my family met OH's family at our wedding
it turned out they all new each other back in the day and a couple of my Aunties and dated his Uncles, my Grandad had been good friends with his Grandad, the Uncles had all played football in a team..........all rather amusing
