I have a veggie patch!
Well my Mum and Dad came up today for a visit and whilst my Mum (with my assistance) was looking after Josh, my Dad and DH (with my assistance) (and I was cooking lunch!) sorted my veggie patch out at last. It's been moved around my garden over the years but now I have finally decided on it's final resting place. They moved my old greenhouse, a seat, some shrubs and then dug and rotavated it over. It's been raining though so it just looks like a muddy pile!... be back later with more, Josh is crying for me...

I hope that it brings you an abundance of veg. Good to hear.
First we sow the seeds, nature grows the seeds then we eat the seeds. Neil Pye

I have some potatos I need to put in this week, I also have:
Beetroot, french beans, runner beans, baby sweetcorn, courgette (seeds already in trays in greenhouse), rocket, basil..... oh, brussels sprouts.... I think that'll do for this year. Interplanted with calendula and sweet peas.
A bit late for digging and stuff, but even if I only get a small amount of veggies this year, the plot is a good one with decent sunshine and not far from the shed (DH doesn't know this yet, but he'll be putting guttering on the shed in the next couple of weeks for a nice big waterbutt or two next to my "allotment")...
Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
