does anyone have a set of destructions on stringing onions I have a vision of the frenchman on his bicycle with his onion strings and would love to be able to do it lol

method is good for garlics but if the onions are large and the stems are very dry (as they should be) you may have to twist in some strong twine or else you get a steady thud as the individual onions drop out! Also not so good for long storage as mesh tray in racks. I have fould you can easily remove bad ones and there is better air flow - very important if you want them still to be edible in may. Not so "classic" though. :roll:
