Many thanks for any advice! I have a lot of these in my garden at the moment but never really considered them to useful :D

I'm afraid it isn't boletus edulis. It is a Leccinum, probably a brown birch bolete. They are edible, but I only use them when young and firm.

No idea about the fungus but it isn't rude to ask advice on your 2nd post at all! That's what we are here for. :flower:

Thanks for the replies!! Cool, I have several more species growing in my garden that I'd also like to identify. I'll post some piccies later. Sure there are more edibles :mrgreen:
